Hi I'm interested in trading with IC Markets,it says that it is regulated by FSCA as well here in South Africa but it doesn't give that detail on your list of brokers. Can you confirm for me if IC Markets is regulated by FSCA as well ?.Thank you. Warm Regards, Tshepo

Answer: Hi Tshepo,

IC Markets is regulated by the CySEC in the EU. It is also authorized by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the Seychelles, in the Bahamas by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas and by ASIC in Australia. Most probably South African clients will be registered and trading under one the subsidiaries of this broker (either Seychelles or Bahamas). You need to check it before investing with the broker.

Even though IC Markets is a well-regulated broker, we always advise traders to be cautious when trading with the offshore entities/branches.

You can check our list of the brokers regulated in South Africa and suitable for South African traders.
