I hereby file a complaint against CTE-CAPITAL and against Mr. Luiz Henrique Marinho Senior Account Manager. Not wanting to take any action with the CTE CAPITAL platform, after several strange procedures I sent an email to Customer Support and also to Mr Luiz Henrique Marinho to close my account no. 460182167 and refund the existing balance in the amount of 200 Euros (219 USD). The value of 219 USD has been pending, it is not known why since the 14th of August 2023 at 15:18.08. I asked for an urgent telephone contact and after 2 days Mr.Luiz Henrique Marinho started by telling me that I should be hanged in public square. he also told me that he would only send me the refund after 60 days and that he hoped that I would be in good health at the end of those 60 days. Then he started making threats and I hung up the phone.I have never been treated this way before… Unfortunately there are still people of this carat… I tried to resolve this whole situation even after the way I was treated in a friendly way but apparently CTE CAPITAL is not interested leaving me no alternative… Please, I would be grateful if you could help me solve this problem because I don’t know what to do anymore … I also inform you that I will be at your disposal for any questions or clarification necessary to resolve this situation in the best possible way.
No other issue at the moment Yours sincerely Pedro António da Fonseca Matos
Our research showed that CTE Capital is an unregulated broker, therefore is high risk to deal and accept any offer coming from the company. Although on its website the broker mentions its excellent trading conditions and opportunities, the fact is that the broker does not hold any type of license. This makes CTE Capital a rather risky choice for investments.
- All the brokers that are not regulated or have an offshore license are considered dangerous choices for Forex trading. The reason is simple. They do not offer any kind of protection or compensation plans and do not follow any rules and regulations. The practice shows that such brokers turn out to be investment scams. After operating for a certain period they might take the clients’ investments and just disappear.
- Besides, it is important to remember, that no regulated and respected firm contacts clients and persuades them to make investments. In fact, this is a common practice among scam brokers.
- We strongly recommend choosing regulated brokers that have a good standing in the market and proven history. Pick brokers with licenses from top-tier authorities, such as FCA, CySEC, ASIC, etc.
- If you have already crossed paths with an unregulated broker and experience certain issues, it is best to contact the financial authority of your country and try to seek help there.
