I think this site is a scam. They are asking me for a $2,750 tax and are holding my money from withdrawal

Unfortunately, it seems you are right and the broker is not legit. The company does not provide any information about its regulation and no such information can also be found online or on the US/UK regulators registers. The confusing thing is that Trade Option FX claims to be a US broker, however, it provides UK address. This kind of discrepancies is just one more proof that the broker is not reliable and cannot be trusted.
We would recommend you to report about this issue to your local regulator in the US. Also, you can try to withdraw small amount to see if they allow you to.
I also thing its a scam site and fake traders/brokers.
Had also difficulties with withdrawal. They asked me 1600 USD for uprading the level from start (beginner) to ‘silver’ one for stabilizing the system. But still won’t let me withdraw till I pay the ITF (so called international tax fee) – 1 870 usd. Didn’t trust a word. Didnt pay any after that.
I have experienced the same difficulties with tradeoptionfx and they tried to give me my profit money in Sumcoin which is not able to be withdrawn. What can I do or whom do I contact moving forward. Thanks.
